Public libraries in Prague cater largely to Czech speakers, but even at small district libraries, you will likely find some books in English, German, and French. Foreigners may avail themselves of borrowing privileges with proof of long-term residency.

International Baptist Theological Seminary Library (296 392 340) Nad Habrovkou 3, Jenerálka, Prague 6—With approximately 60,000 volumes, this is the largest English-language theological library on the European continent. Prague Christian Library (Křest‘anská knihovna Praha)(222 724 856) Baranova 32, Prague 3—Collection includes more than 3500 books, videos, and audio tapes specializing in various aspects of applied Christian living and apologetics, as well as basic Bible helps and a large selection of children’s books. They have an English-language story hour for children ages 3-7 the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, starting at 10:00 am.
